Regular visits to the dentist have been proven to help prevent dental decay and periodontal (gum) disease. Dr. Webb and our Hygiene Team work together to monitor your dental health and perform preventive treatments to help keep your smile healthy.
We recommend that our patients visit our office every 3-6 months for routine checkups, cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
At this visit, we will take necessary digital xrays, and Dr. Webb will perform a thorough dental examination to evaluate the condition of your teeth and jaw joints. We may recommend fluoride treatments or dental sealants for your child to help prevent tooth decay.
As part of your dental examination, Dr. Webb and our Hygienists will measure your gums to look for signs of periodontal (gum) disease. If left untreated, periodontal disease can lead to tooth loss and infection.

We want your child’s first trip to the dentist to be fun! We will welcome them as if we are embarking on a new adventure together, and teach them all about what we do.
Our pace is always based on your child's interest and comfort level; sometimes we just go for a ride in the "spaceship" (dental chair), or, have them hold "Mr. Thirsty" (the suction) as we clean their teeth. Our goal is to create a great experience so they look forward to coming back to see us again!
